The wheels on a new Honda Accord parked on 10th Avenue near 17th Street were stolen this morning, according to Windsor Terrace resident Benita Hirsch, who rented the car. The car was left propped up on cinder blocks.
A neighbor saw the car with its wheels still on at about 6:00 a.m. He guessed that the theft occurred around 7:00 a.m.
The last wheel theft that was reported on this blog: "On Sunday, February 13th, [2011,] an unknown person removed rims and tires from a 2009 Honda Accord at the corner of Caton Avenue and E 7th Street."
