Sign-up has begun for the 2011 season of the KWT CSA (Kensington/Windsor Terrace Community Supported Agriculture)--24 weeks of locally-grown vegetables, fruit, flowers, and eggs, starting in June and ending in November.

This year, there are two pick-up options:
  • Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00  p.m. or
  • Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Both pick-ups are at the East 4th Street Community Garden (E. 4th Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue).

The CSA's
blog has more information about the CSA and signing up. Information about their organic farm (Garden of Eve), including information about potential share items and past years' actual shares, is on Garden of Eve's website.

The KWT CSA will have two orientation meetings to answer any questions people may have:
  • Thursday, April 7th, 7:00 p.m., at Brooklyn Commune, 601 Greenwood Avenue (at Prospect Avenue)
  • Wednesday, April 13th, 4:30 p.m., at the E. 4th Street Community Garden
  • (rain location: Brooklyn Commune, 601 Greenwood Avenue)
You can also contact the CSA at kwtcsa [at] to get your questions answered.
