BROOKLYN COMMUNE HAS OPENED

Today was the "soft opening" of Brooklyn Commune, a community-focused cafe and specialty market owned and operated by Chris and Eugenie.  The official Grand Opening will be this weekend.

In the cafe, the light fare menu will include soups, salads, side dishes, sandwiches, and some entrees. The specialty market portion of the store sells take-out--local and seasonal products (Stumptown Coffee, Brooklyn cheeses, artisanal olive oils and vinegars, seasonal produce, whole grains, and crusty artisanal breads) and prepared foods (side dishes, salads, entrees, granolas, seasonings, and marinades) made in-house.

A catering menu is also available for special events and holidays.
