FREE REGISTRATION FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Operation Identification
Tuesday, November 23rd, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The 66th Precinct's free crime prevention program, Operation Identification, allows you to register your computer, lap top, iPod, cell phone, and any other electronic devices you own.

To deter theft, your property will be registered and recorded by a precinct serial number. If your property is stolen anyway and is recovered, it will be returned to you. If anyone has illegal possession of the item, they could be arrested.

Operation Identification is a joint effort between the 66th Precinct and Astoria Federal Savings Bank, where the program will be offered (101 Church Avenue, at the corner of McDonald Avenue in Kensington).

For additional information, contact the bank at (718) 435-4300 or the 66th Precinct Crime Officer, Police Officer Vaughan, at (718) 851-5620.
