"A SMALL, PATHETIC, VILE CULT FROM KANSAS"

District 39's New York City Councilmember, Brad Lander, issued a statement denouncing Westboro Baptist Church, the group that will be picketing two Jewish schools and a synagogue in Kensington on Monday--Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington and Yeshiva Torah Temimah, both on Ocean Parkway, and Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin, on Coney Island Avenue. Mr. Lander has turned an act of hate into an opportunity to praise Chabad of Kensington for the charitable work it does for the community surrounding it.

ANTI-SEMITES WILL VISIT KENSINGTON, PART 2

ANTI-SEMITES WILL VISIT KENSINGTON

The Westboro Baptist Church will be returning to Brooklyn--this time to our neighborhood--next Monday, October 11th, to picket two Jewish schools and a synagogue. Westboro protests against Jews, Catholics, and other Protestant churches, at gay events, and at military funerals and gay people's funerals. "They plan to assemble on sidewalks and sing anti-Jewish songs and display signs with slogans such as 'God Hates Jews' and 'America is Doomed'." Read the article in The Yeshiva World News.
