Sundays, 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Leng Tan offers two Israeli dance sessions on Sunday nights at Flatbush Jewish Center (FJC). From her website, Israeli Dance with Leng:

New, modern Israeli dances are now being choreographed to the latest, popular Israeli music. Israeli dance borrows dance styles that are popular all over the world - including salsa, line, Irish step, country, etc.

Leng's beginner's session runs from 6:45 to 7:30. Prior Israeli dance experience isn't necessary. The open session runs from 7:30 to 10:00.

Everyone is invited to participate; all sessions are open to women and men. Light kosher snacks will be served.

Current FJC members are admitted free of charge. Non-FJC members pay $5 per person per session.

In October and November, sessions are scheduled for October 13th and 20th and November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.

Israeli Dance Class for Men and Women

Sunday, July 21st through Sunday, August 18th

7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Beginner class: 7:00 p.m .to 7:30 p.m.
Advanced beginner class: 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Open session: 7:45 p.m t0 10:00 p.m.

Cost:Admission is free for current Flatbush Jewish Center members and teenagers; 

$10 per person for non-members.

KICK UP YOUR HEELS DOING ISRAELI DANCES

UPDATE: Israeli dancing will take a break for three weeks until after Tisha B'Av. It won't meet on these Sundays: June 30th, July 7th, and July 14th. It will resume on Sunday, July 21st, at 7:00 p.m. 

Monday night's Israeli dance classes at the Flatbush Jewish Center are migrating to Sunday nights, as of this Sunday, June 30th.

Time: The beginners class begins at 7:00 p.m. The open session runs from 7:45 to 10:00.

Fee: The classes are free for people who are already members of the Flatbush Jewish Center and $10 per person for non-members. That's a bargain!

Israeli Dance Classes
Monday, April 22nd

Beginner's Class: 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Intermediate/Advanced Class: 8:00 p.m.

Combine fun and exercise at the beginner's Israeli dance class and/or the intermediate class that follows it. No prior experience is necessary to dance. Classes are free for Flatbush Jewish Center members.
