BLUEGRASS SESSIONS ADDED TO THE SCHEDULE IN THE GARDEN (FREE)

"Bluegrass on the Green Grass," the free open bluegrass jam sessions for musicians and music lovers, has added two sessions to its regular schedule in the East Fourth Street Community Garden.

Sessions are normally held every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., but frequent rain on past weekends means that the next two sessions will be held on the fifth Saturday in May and the first Saturday in June.

Bring your instruments and join in. All skill levels and ages are welcome. 

Kids are invited to dance along.

"Bluegrass on the Green Grass," the free open bluegrass jam sessions for musicians and music lovers, will return to the East Fourth Street Community Garden for the fourth season in a row, weather permitting.

The series will kick off on April 25th at 1:00 p.m. and continue on every second and fourth Saturday of the month.

Bring your instruments and join in. All skill levels and ages are welcome. 

And kids are invited to dance along.

An open bluegrass jam session for musicians and music lovers will take place at the East Fourth Street Community Garden on Saturday, September 14th, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

All skill levels and ages are welcome to participate.

From the Garden:

This is a family friendly gathering. We will have a space for the kids to be able to be kids! We encourage them to dance, sing, sit and enjoy, and learn.  

Old-timers or newcomers, all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to play.

The garden has seating and helping set up is always appreciated. Bringing your own chair is fine too. 

Alas, no alcohol is permitted. Other food & beverages are fine.
