BROOKLYN ST. PATRICK'S PARADE AND PARTY 2026


51st Annual Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade
Sunday, March 15th, 1:00 p.m.
Post-parade Party: 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
 
Marchers in the 51st Annual Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade will assemble at Bartel-Pritchard Square (Prospect Park West at 15th Street) on Sunday, March 15th, at 12:30 p.m. for the Rededication Ceremony to the heroes and victims of 9/11. The parade will step off at 1:00 p.m. The Grand Marshal will be PIX11 reporter Magee Hickey, 
 
The day's festivities will include music, bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, antique cars, and much more.
 
Mass will be held before the parade at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 245 Prospect Park West, between Prospect Avenue and Windsor Place. The Most Reverend Witold Mroziewski will be the main celebrant. He is an Auxiliary Bishop and Regional Vicar of Brooklyn West for the Diocese of Brooklyn.
 
A post-parade party will be held in Shepherd's Hall in Holy Name Church from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include a corned beef dinner, with beer and soda included, and live music by Bob and Bronagh. The price of admission is $50. 
 
The parade will start at Bartel-Pritchard Square, located in Windsor Terrace at the intersection of Prospect Park West, 15th Street, and Prospect Park Southwest. It will march down 15th Street, turn right onto 7th Avenue, march to Garfield Place and turn right, march up to Prospect Park West and turn right, and return to Bartel-Pritchard Square.
 
The Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade is the oldest one in the borough, having been held annually since 1976 (except for 2020 or 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic).
