
Join us for the BROOKNITTERS FOR MINNESOTA "Melt the Ice Hat" Knitalong.The cost of attending is $5 which will go directly to the fabulous folks at Needle + Skein in MN who drafted the hat pattern.
All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to the immigrant aid agencies who will distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.
Each person who attends should bring their own yarn + knitting needles. We have plenty of stitch markers and yarn needles if needed. See below for supply info:
Approximately 200 yards of RED yarn of your choice in fingering, DK, or Worsted weight.
Suggested Needles
Fingering weight yarn: US #4 / 3.5mm
DK weight yarn: US #6 / 4mm
Worsted weight yarn: US #8 / 5mmThere is also a crochet pattern so please let me know which pattern you would like.
This workshop is open to adults and teens who already have a basic knowledge and understanding of knitting. This is not for folks who are true beginners who do not know how to knit. Sorry!
