Wayne Tucker & the Bad Mothas
121 Marlborough Rd, Brooklyn
Miles Davis meets Stevie Wonder in the amazing music of Wayne Tucker & the Bad Mothas. Wayne and his band are stalwarts of the NYC music scene and squarely the type of hard working musicians that Operation Gig seeks to celebrate and support. Come help us do that!
Operation Gig! provides live music performances outdoors on Fridays, Saturdays, and
Sundays.
The series, held on the porches of private houses in Ditmas
Park, started in July 2020 to offer a venue where musicians could
perform during the pandemic. That gives them a source of income and provides a safe space for people to
gather to enjoy live music.
Although
no entrance fee is charged, a suggested $10 donation to the musicians is
more than welcome. You can donate either at the performance itself or
to the tax-deductible Operation Gig Musician Guarantee Fund on GoFundMe.
