PS 130 PTA to Hold Annual Fall Fest Party

Saturday, October 22nd, 11am - 3:30pm

PS 130 Upper School, Caton Ave. & E. 7th St.

Brooklyn, NY – The P.S. 130 PTA is holding its Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, from 11am to 3:30pm at the PS 130 Upper School, located at Caton Avenue & E. 7th Street.

One of the area’s most popular events of the season, Fall Fest is open to the public. Come to Fall Fest and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same!

There will be fun activities both free and ticketed for the entire family to enjoy including: an obstacle course, pony rides provided by Brooklyn Equine, a pumpkin patch, bouncy inflatables, Henna tattoos, arts + crafts, games, food, live music, and so much more!

Baked goods, drinks, and assorted snacks will be available for purchase. All funds raised will be used to support the PS 130 PTA.

"This event is a wonderful way for the community to support PS 130, and for PS 130 to support the community," said PS 130 PTA Co-President Diana Rosenthal. "Fall Fest is an opportunity to celebrate the season and our community; we are excited to provide a day of fun for our neighbors while also raising funds to support important PTA initiatives, like professional development, direct support to classroom teachers, and improving our curriculum.”

We are especially grateful to our sponsors Brooklyn Solar Works and the Carolyn Cedar and  ResnickMorrisDuby teams at Compass Realty, as without their support the event would not be possible.

PS 130 is a public elementary school serving over 850 students in Windsor Terrace/Kensington, Brooklyn. Our students speak over 10 languages and embody a myriad of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, making us among the most diverse elementary schools in Brooklyn. Children from low-income families make up more than 40% of our enrollment. 850+ students • 500+ families • 100+ faculty & staff

This activity is not sponsored or endorsed by the New York City Department of Education or the City of New York.
