The coop is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Opened in March 2015, the Windsor Terrace Food Coop sells fresh organic fruit and vegetables from local farmers, dairy products, meat, locally-made breads, beverages, packaged goods, items sold in bulk, and "home, health, and beauty aids." Members work one two-hour shift every fifth week, with a variety of work options available. Jobs include cashiering, receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, serving on a committee, and more.
The one-time membership fee for the member-owned and member-operated food coop is $100 for one shopper, $175 for a family, and $60 for a student or a senior (age 65+). Membership is free for EBT recipients.
