DISPOSE OF ELECTRONICS AND MORE AT PARK CIRCLE

SAFE Disposal of Solvents, Automotive, Flammable, Electronics
Sunday, May 6th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Drop off potentially harmful household products--automotive, personal care, housewares, household cleaners, hobby supplies, and electronics--at Park Circle on Sunday, May 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Be sure to bring items that are labeled DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION. Until the year 2015, it's still legal for New York City residents to put electronics in their home trash, with the exception of rechargeable batteries.

Only items from New York City residences will be accepted. You'll be asked to provide proof of living in New York City. Items from businesses and institutions won't be accepted, and commercial vehicles won't be allowed.

The event will be held rain or shine at Park Circle (also known as Machate Circle), at the intersection of Prospect Park Southwest, Fort Hamilton Parkway, and Parkside Avenue.

Detailed information is on the Sanitation Department website at Spring 2012 SAFE Disposal Events.
