Ditmas Lit Reading Series

The monthly reading series Ditmas Lit is dedicated to
showcasing established and emerging writers in all genres.
Three writers
will read from their work at this month's installment of Ditmas Lit on Wednesday, June 26th, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Nina St. Pierre will not be reading tonight.
Tonight's readers:
- Brittney
Inman Cooke: She received her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School.
Her work has appeared in The Rumpus, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Heavy Feather
Review, Bookanista, and other places. She serves on the Board of
Epiphany Magazine, and she's a co-founder of The Urbane Arts Club in
Ditmas Park.
- Danny
Goodman: His writing has appeared in various publications, and he was the
recipient of a writer-in-residence fellowship from Rivendell. He earned
his MFA in Fiction from the University of New Orleans, where he was a
two-time winner of the Samuel Mockbee Award. He lives in the Hudson
Valley with his wife, a book editor, and their editorial cats. His debut
novel, Amerikaland, was released on June 4.
- Wesley Straton: She is a California-born, Brooklyn-based writer and bartender. She holds an MFA from Brooklyn College and her work has appeared in Glimmer Train, GQ, and The Common. Her debut novel, The Bartender’s Cure, was published in 2022 by Flatiron Books.
