P.S. 130 PTA to Hold 11th Annual Spring Benefit & Silent Auction 

May 15, 2021, 7-9 p.m.

Bidding is Open to the Public and Goes Live May 10 at 8 a.m.

 Auction includes items from Stephen Colbert, Marc Maron & Summer Camps & Local Restaurants

All proceeds will benefit the P.S. 130 PTA, a Title I school in Brooklyn serving over 800 students

Brooklyn, NY – The P.S. 130 PTA is holding its 11th Annual Spring Auction on Saturday, May 15, from 7-9 p.m. The private online event features a special musical performance by Will Butler of the Grammy Award-winning band Arcade Fire, a DJ set from  DJ Ayres of the Rub and special guests including author and New Yorker cartoonist Emily Flake

Bidding is open to the public starting at 8 a.m. on May 10 and will be entirely online at: https://one.bidpal.net/ps130auction21/welcome

Items up for bid include: 

• Tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

• The chance to sit in on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast with guest of your choice

• Project consultations with professional literary agents, editors and architects

• Camps & classes from Camp Half-Blood, The Dynamite Shop, Brooklyn Game Lab, Super Soccer Stars and more!

• One-of-a-kind gifts like a custom cartoon from New Yorker cartoonist Emily Flake, a personalized New York Times-style crossword puzzle, a visit to a Brooklyn chicken coop plus eggs, pet portraits

Bidding will end promptly at 9:00pm on Saturday, May 15. All proceeds will benefit the P.S. 130 PTA, a Title I school in Brooklyn serving over 800 students.

 "This event is a wonderful way to support P.S. 130, and for P.S. 130 to support local businesses" said P.S. 130 PTA Co-President Mel Boller. "The Spring Auction is an opportunity to celebrate and continue our tradition of promoting businesses in our community while raising much needed funding for P.S. 130 to support professional development for our teachers, and enrichment programs for students including Chess instruction, health education, and author visits.
