Update: After Labor Day, the alternate side parking reform that went into effect on June 29th will remain in effect. Through Friday, September 18th, residential side streets will continue to be cleaned only once a week.
Alternate side parking regulations will be suspended for Rosh Hashanah on Saturday, September 19th.

Alternate side parking regulations for street cleaning will be suspended for Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.
Labor Day is a major legal holiday. On major legal holidays, stopping, standing, and parking are permitted,
except in areas where stopping, standing, and parking rules are in effect
seven days a week (for instance, “No Standing Anytime”).
Parking meter
regulations are suspended on major legal holidays. The major legal
holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
On all other holidays, street cleaning
rules are suspended, but other regulations remain in effect.
Through Saturday, September 5th, when alternate side parking is in effect, residential side streets
that have multiple alternate side parking days will only be
cleaned--with vehicles required to be moved--on the
latest day in the week on each side.
Throughout the summer, cleanliness conditions will be assessed to determine whether to extend or modify the rules after Labor Day.
On Sundays, alternate side parking isn't in effect, and you don't have to pay parking meters.
