Kensington Youthmarket
  Saturdays through November 19th, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A full range of fresh fruit and vegetables is being sold on Saturdays at a greenmarket by the Windsor Terrace Library. Grains and honey are among the items added this year. Everything sold here is fresh, high-quality, and grown on regional small farms.

At the cooking demonstrations, expand your repertoire by learning how to prepare a dish from one or more items being sold there. The demonstrations are given every week from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Now in its sixth year, the Kensington Youthmarket is a smaller version of New York City's greenmarkets. Through GrowNYC, it's operated by young people from the neighborhood.

In previous years, the youthmarket didn't open until this year, we have an additional month of shopping. It'll be open every Saturday until the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Cash, EBT cards, debit cards, credit cards, WIC checks, and FMNP checks. are all accepted as payment.

Location: Fort Hamilton Parkway at E. 5th Street, alongside the Windsor Terrace Library

The Kensington Youthmarket is brought to you by GrowNYC
