Springtime at the Parkside:
6th Annual Silent Auction and Party
Saturday, April 2nd, 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Bid on interesting and unusual items while enjoying food, beer, and wine with your neighbors at this silent auction and party. The event will benefit the P.S. 130 (The Parkside School) PTA, and it is open to the public.
The donated items that will be auctioned off have not been announced yet, but some that were included in past auctions are
- a soccer lesson,
- a knitting lesson,
- accent reduction classes,
- birding in Prospect Park,
- gift certificates from Brancaccio Food Shop and Le Paddock,
- a family membership to the New York Transit Museum,
- a family pass to MOMA,
- toys (including a Lego set),
- games, and
- jewelry.
Funds raised will be used to supplement classroom instruction and the enrichment programs provided by teachers and staff.
