BANKING SERVICES AND TRAFFIC PROBLEMS ON ANA AGENDA

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Albemarle Neighborhood Association meeting
Thursday, November 21st
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.

The guest speaker at this week's meeting of the Albemarle Neighborhood Association (ANA) will be Martine Kimmey, manager of the Kensington branch of Astoria Federal Savings. She will speak about banking issues important to the community.

An update from the Department of Transportation about the traffic problems on Albemarle Road will be presented--the problems being vehicles speeding on Albemarle, stop signs on side streets being ignored, and obstructions blocking the view from the side streets of approaching vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Gift certificates from Foodtown will be raffled off.

The meeting is free for ANA members as well as non-members. As always, Foodtown and ANA will provide refreshments for attendees.

The meeting will be held in the bank's lobby, 101 Church Avenue at the corner of McDonald Avenue.

This will be the final ANA meeting for 2013. The first meeting in 2014 will be held in March.
