GOODBYE ALSO TO HOLY NAME SCHOOL

Not only won't there be an Immaculate Heart of Mary School after the 2011-2012 school year ends, there also won't be a Holy Name of Jesus School. The two schools will merge to form St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Academy, which will open where Holy Name School is for the 2012-2013 school year.

The New York City Department of Education may be interested in renting the IHM School building for a public school or a charter school.
