PUBLIC TOILET PROPOSED FOR PARK CIRCLE

Community Board 14
Transportation Committee Meeting
Thursday, November 6th, 6:30 p.m.

Installation of an automated public toilet has been proposed for the Park Circle sidewalk, near Coney Island Avenue.

The proposal will be discussed at an online public meeting of the Community Board 14 Transportation Committee on Thursday, November 6th, at 6:30 p.m. Feedback from the public is welcome.

The toilet will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. It'll allow fifteen minutes of use per visit.

The toilet is free and fully-accessible. It's single-stall, self-sanitizing, and will be serviced twice a day for inspection and system maintenance.

For installation to proceed, approval is needed from the following:

▪ Community Board
▪ Council Member
▪ Speaker of the Council

The complete proposal for the toilet is posted at https://www.nyc.gov/assets/brooklyncb9/downloads/pdf/2025/PPSW-at-16thSt-CB-2024-Park-Circle.pdf.
