Looking for Ways to Support Immigrants?

I will be hosting an informational and action-oriented gathering on 11/15 at 2:00. I am supporting Hands Off NYC, a large coalition working to create a citywide response to increased ICE activity and the possibility of a National Guard presence.As stated on the flyer, we will be sharing resources, creating whistle kits and flyers to distribute that explain how to report on ICE activities, learning more about our rights, and brainstorming ideas we have for further actions! Come one- come all- the more we can do, the safer we all will be.At about 3:00, some people will head out for action and others will stay to make flyers and such.There are a few things I could use some help🙏 with...Small things 🐞-~I would love someone to sit🪑 at the building entrance door to help guide folk to the right place.Medium things 🐩-~I have about 70 whistles for making whistle kits (don't worry if you don't know what that is yet) but people would probably happily take more 😗. Feel free to bring whistles 🪈.~Soon I will have the address of somewhere to pick up 🛍️ more materials from Hands Off NYC. It may be in Manhattan 🏢, so if someone who regularly travels 🚇 to Manhattan could pick stuff up, that'd be great.Large thing 🐋-~People may be motivated 😀 by the meeting to head out and leaflet, sticker, and distribute 🫱 whistle kits. Anyone feel brave 💪 enough to lead squads to the Church⛪ Ave subway spot? Or other locations, depending on interest?
