Alzheimer’s Disease and Support for Family Caregivers

Community Board 7's Health Committee and NYU Langone Health will present information and education about Alzheimer’s disease and related types of dementia.
If you're helping out or caring for a relative with a memory disorder, you will also be able to learn about
- ways to adjust to the "new normal,"
- strategies to get support so you can continue to carry out the responsibilities of work and family life,
- suggestions for alleviating the stress of caregiving, and
- resources that can make a difference in your day-to-day life.
The free meeting is open to the public. It'll take place on Thursday, October 5th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Board 7 office, 4201 4th Avenue. The entrance is on 43rd Street.
