ALZHEIMER'S INFORMATION AND STRATEGIES FOR CAREGIVERS (FREE)


Alzheimer’s Disease and Support for Family Caregivers
Thursday, October 5th, 6:30 p.m.

Community Board 7's Health Committee and NYU Langone Health will present information and education about Alzheimer’s disease and related types of dementia.


If you're helping out or caring for a relative with a memory disorder, you will also be able to learn about

  • ways to adjust to the "new normal,"
  • strategies to get support so you can continue to carry out the responsibilities of work and family life,
  • suggestions for alleviating the stress of caregiving, and
  • resources that can make a difference in your day-to-day life.

The free meeting is open to the public. It'll take place on Thursday, October 5th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Board 7 office, 4201 4th Avenue. The entrance is on 43rd Street.
