Hello Neighbors and Friends of Community Board 12,CB 12's next South of Prospect Planning Committee Meeting will be Wednesday, October 14th at 7pm, at Community Board 12's Office: 5910 13th Avenue, and remotely on Zoom.Our meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. The Department of City Planning has proposed the "South of Prospect Neighborhood Plan" to upzone McDonald Avenue (Fort Hamilton Parkway to Avenue I), Coney Island Avenue (Caton Avenue to Avenue I), and the surrounding areas.
Upzoning will increase the amount of development by allowing more density (more dwelling units per acre) and taller buildings.
