A house on E. 3rd Street, between Caton Avenue and Albermarle Road, was burgled at about 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23rd--the one day that nobody was home.
The burglars used a chair (or chairs) to enter the house through a rear second-floor window and stole a lot of valuable items. Rear windows of houses have been the entry point in several recent burglaries in the vicinity.
The victim, in reporting the burglary on the KWT Neighbors listserv, reminded people to lock up their homes.
