CELEBRATE THE BENGALI NEW YEAR IN KENSINGTON

Join the Mongol Shovo Jatra parade on Saturday, April 20th, to celebrate the start of the Bengali New Year 1431.

Schedule:

• 1:30 p.m.: parade lineup in Albemarle Playground (McDonald Avenue, between Albemarle Road and Dahill Road)
  
• 2:00 p.m.: parade down McDonald Avenue to P.S. 179 (202 Avenue C, between E. 2nd and E. 3rd streets)
• 3:00 p.m.: cultural performances in the P.S.179 yard
