GREEN-WOOD CEMETERY GATES ARE ALL OPEN EVERY DAY DURING THE PANDEMIC

Announcement from Green-wood Cemetery
All our gates are open, seven days a week -- you asked and we heard you! We have adjusted the open hours for our Gates to accommodate those of you seeking a place to enjoy art, history, and nature while practicing precautions to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Our new hours are as follows:⠀
  • Our Main Entrance (Fifth Avenue and 25th Street) will be open from 7am to 7pm⠀
  • Our Sunset Park Entrance (Fourth Avenue and 35th Street) will be open from 8am to 7pm⠀
  • Our Fort Hamilton Parkway Entrance (Fort Hamilton Parkway and Micieli Place) will be open to pedestrians from 11am to 7pm
  • Our Prospect Park West Entrance (Prospect Park West and 20th Street) will be open to pedestrians from 11am to 7pm⠀
⠀
A reminder: Green-wood is an active cemetery, and we encourage you to be mindful of those around you during your visit. Please practice social distancing at all times.
We also ask that you observe the following rules: No riding of bicycles, rollerblades, or scooters and no dog walking, jogging, or game playing. ⠀
⠀
Please consider making a donation to Green-Wood so that we may continue to keep the Gates open throughout this time.⠀
⠀
You can grab a map at our Main Entrance to help you explore, or download our free mobile app using Google Play or the App Store.
Enjoy your visit and please be safe!
