VIDEO SHOOT FOR HEALTHY TOMATO SAUCE NEEDS PARENTS WITH PICKY KIDS

An invitation to parents and children
from a Windsor Terrace entrepreneur

Dear Parents,

My kids, who are 3 and 7, are picky eaters, like many. The older they get, the pickier they get. And the pickier they get, the more concerned I, as a parent, get that they are not receiving enough nutrition from their diets.

It's tough--really tough--being a parent who only wants the best for their kids, especially with a pizza shop on every corner and store aisles full of "healthy" snacks.

So, two years ago, I decided to do something about it. I decided to make the world's healthiest tomato sauce. I enlisted my friend, Maxime Bilet, who co-wrote a book called Modernist Cuisine, which is 2,438 pages on the science of cooking.

We spent hundreds and hundreds of hours studying, testing, and laying the groundwork for what we hope will be an incredibly disruptive product that has the chance to truly improve peoples' lives. The sauce is called "otamot," and it launches in a month.

As part of our launch, we are shooting a video at a beautiful home in Park Slope on Sunday, October 21st. While we have enlisted our friends and family, we are still short on kids and parents. We are looking for picky eaters aged 6 to 9 and their parents, who struggle (like us) with giving them healthy meals as often as we wish we could.

We'll have two taping sessions. The morning session (four hours) pays $100 per family, and the afternoon session (two hours) pays $50 per family.

The film crew will tape parents speaking about their challenges and kids speaking about what they like to eat and don't like to eat. And of course, we'll have plenty of our "otamot" sauce to go around. We'll be making pizza, playing games, and, hopefully, having plenty of fun.

From one Windsor Terrace parent to another, thanks in advance for giving this a read. Feel free to share.

Best,

Andrew Suzuka
