SYCAMORE BAR IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS AGAIN


UPDATE:
Today's re-inspection, which allowed the reopening, reports
Establishment authorized to reopen after inspection conducted on 06/28/2017.
Violation points: 13

Sanitary Violations
1) Filth flies or food/refuse/sewage-associated (FRSA) flies present in facility’s food and/or non-food areas. Filth flies include house flies, little house flies, blow flies, bottle flies and flesh flies. Food/refuse/sewage-associated flies include fruit flies, drain flies and Phorid flies. (critical)
2)
Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin to exist. (not critical)
3) Non-food contact surface improperly constructed. Unacceptable material used. Non-food contact surface or equipment improperly maintained and/or not properly sealed, raised, spaced or movable to allow accessibility for cleaning on all sides, above and underneath the unit. (not critical)
The letter grade is pending.

The bar was shut down for forty-eight hours, following Monday's inspection by the Department of Health.

The findings of the June 26th inspection that led to the closure were posted today on the Restaurant Grades page on the Department of Health website. 
Violations recorded in the following area (s), a Notice of Violation issued and establishment ordered closed by the Department of Health at the initial operational pre-permit inspection conducted on 06/26/2017.
