Lauren Groff's Delicate, Edible Birds will be the first book to be explored in the free three-part Author Discussion Series at the Windsor Terrace Library.

The book, published in 2009, is a collection of nine dramatic short stories "of astonishing insight and variety, each revealing a resonant drama within the life of a twentieth-century woman."

Ms. Groff is also the author of The Monsters of Templeton (2008), Arcadia (2011), and Fates and Furies (2015).

Myla Goldberg, author of Bee Season, Wickett's Remedy, and The False Friend, will lead the series.
