CHANGE OF COMMAND AT 66TH PRECINCT

Captain Kenneth Quick will replace Deputy Inspector Michael Deddo on Monday as the commanding officer of the 66th Precinct, The Yeshiva World and JPUdates reported yesterday. 

Captain Quick is coming to us from the Patrol Boro Brooklyn South Specialized Units. Brooklyn South manages thirteen precincts, including the 66th.

Captain Quick was appointed to the New York City Police Department in July 1999, beginning his career on patrol in the 70th Precinct. He was promoted to Sergeant in February 2005, Lieutenant in December 2009, and Captain in February 2012.

Captain Quick has served in the 70th, 83rd, and 72nd Precincts as well as Patrol Borough Brooklyn South.  
 

Inspector Deddo, after three years as commander, will likely be transferred to the Internal Affairs Bureau, which investigates allegations of corruption and serious misconduct against members of the NYPD.

Captain Emmanuel Gonzalez is the new Executive Officer at the 66th Precinct.
