REPOSTING: NYPD COMMUNITY UNITY FESTIVAL (FREE)

Patrol Boro Brooklyn South
Community Unity Showcase Festival
Sunday, September 14th, 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Foster community, encourage communication between neighbors, and promote communication between residents and the police by joining police officers from Patrol Boro Brooklyn South's thirteen precincts for free food, fun, and entertainment.

The thirteen precincts in Patrol Boro Brooklyn South are the 60th, 61st, 62nd, 63rd, 66th, 67th, 68th, 69th, 70th, 71st, 72nd, 76th, and 78th.

The location of the event will be the Bartel-Pritchard Square entrance to Prospect Park at Prospect Park West and 15th Street.

In previous years, the event has included foods representing various nationalities, a rock climbing wall, and information about fire safety and gun safety. Last year, the entertainment included Chinese fan dancing, singing, martial arts demonstrations, reggae music, and stilt-dancing.
