CUB SCOUT OPEN HOUSE, FOR SCOUTS WHO "DO STUFF"

Cub Scout Pack 187 Open House
Friday, September 19th, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At Cub Scout Pack 187's Open House/Registration/Orientation, learn about Cub Scouts, meet the leaders, and find out which activities the scouts of Pack 187 will be engaging in this year.
Cub Scouts is a year-round family program designed for boys in the 1st through 5th grades (ages 6-10). The program emphasizes leadership, learning about the community and the environment, family, character, and citizenship.
As a family program,
Cub Scouts is not a “drop-off" activity. A parent or guardian should accompany each scout at activities to serve as his teacher and helper (also known as the boy's "Akela").
Membership in Pack 187 is open to any family in any neighborhood. New scouts are welcome to join at any time. Pack 187 welcomes the participation of boys with special needs.

The Boy Scouts of America charters community organizations to organize and operate Cub Scout packs. The organizations manage the units and control the program of activities to support their goals and objectives. Cub Scout Pack 187 is chartered by Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

For additional information, write to Cubmaster Christopher Dono at Cubmasterdono187 @ aol.com.

The pack meets on Fridays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in Brooklyn Prospect Charter School, 3002 Fort Hamilton Parkway, between E. 2nd and E. 3rd streets, in Windsor Terrace (a block from the Kensington border).
