FLATBUSH GARDENER'S GARDEN: JOIN IN ON THIS RARE TOUR (FREE)
The Flatbush Gardener--Chris Kreussling--will throw open his garden gate to the public for a "Pollinator Safari." Get a free ticket to this rare glimpse into Chris' garden by registering here on Eventbrite.
Chris is offering this guided tour in partnership with NYC Wildflower Week, to observe National Pollinator Week. Who, you may ask, are the pollinators? Birds, bees, bats, butterflies, moths, beetles, and others. Pollination leads to fertilization. Without this process, we would be without many foods and beverages we enjoy.
On Saturday, June 21st, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (rain date: Sunday, June 22nd) explore Chris' garden on Stratford Road at Matthews Court, between Lewis Place and Slocum Place, which are between Beverley Road and Cortelyou Road.
