KENSINGTON YOUTHMARKET WILL BRING FARM-FRESH FRUIT AND VEGGIES

Kensington Youthmarket
Saturday, July 12th to Saturday, November 22nd,
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Kensington Youthmarket will soon embark on its fourth season. Get ready to lug home some of the largest produce you've ever seen ("Giant Vegetables Invade Brooklyn").

The GrowNYC farm stand is stocked with fresh, high-quality food from regional small farms. It's got peaches, apples, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, cilantro, basil, parsley, radishes, beets, carrots, green pepper, red onions, yellow onions, scallions, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, corn, and more, more, more.

It's on Fort Hamilton Parkway, between E. 4th and E. 5th streets, alongside the Windsor Terrace Library.

Young folks operate this market. GrowNYC provides them with important information about health, nutrition, and the environment, provides them with business training, and hones their interpersonal skills.

Payment can be made with cash, EBT cards, debit cards, credit cards, WIC checks, and FMNP checks.
