EXPECT TO HEAR A HELICOPTER

The helicopter and the flight areas

A helicopter will be flying at low altitudes over northern New Jersey and New York City from Tuesday, January 21st, through Monday, January 27th. It will be conducting aerial surveys in advance of Super Bowl XLVIII.

The flyovers will occur only during daylight hours. They're estimated to take about three days to complete. This process is a normal part of security and emergency preparedness.
