"HIDDEN GEMS" IN GREEN-WOOD CEMETERY: A WALKING TOUR

Green-wood's Hidden Gems Walking Tour
Sunday, November 10th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Veteran tour guide Marge Raymond will lead tomorrow's walking tour to several of historic and awe-inspiring Green-Wood Cemetery’s "Hidden Gems," including


  • the Brooklyn Theater Fire monument;
  • the gravesite of Elias Howe, inventor of the sewing machine, and his beloved dog Fannie;
  • the tragic death of 17-year-old Charlotte Canda in 1845 and her magnificent memorial;
  • Rex the dog;
  • the Tiffany family;
  • Green-wood's newest bronze sculpture, "The Greeter;"
  • and more.

Admission: $10 for members of Green-Wood Cemetery; $15 for non-members.
