SPECIALIZED GROUPS WILL MEET ABOUT HOW TO SPEND THE BUDGETED MILLION DOLLARS

The four neighborhood assemblies for City Council District 39's participatory budgeting program are done; now it's the turn of the four specialized assemblies to suggest projects that will be beneficial to the district.

The assemblies are Seniors, Transportation, Bangla, and Spanish. Their dates and locations are:

• Senior Assembly:
• Friday, October 18th, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Bishop Boardman Apartments, 1615 8th Avenue, at 16th Street

• Transportation Assembly: street, sidewalk, subway, bus, car, and truck issues
• Monday, October 21st, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue, at 9th Street
