COMPOST FOR BROOKLYN'S OPEN HOURS

Until the end of August, Compost for Brooklyn is open every Thursday, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the second and fourth Saturdays (July 27th, August 10th, and August 24th) from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

Bring only household food scraps to compost. Don't bring any dairy, meat, bones, woody material, lawn clippings, or coconut shells. The compost will be used to nourish neighborhood curbside tree beds.

Compost for Brooklyn is a community composting project and native plant garden in Kensington, Brooklyn.
