"BEAUFORT" SHOWING AT FLATBUSH JEWISH CENTER

Movie Night: "Beaufort"
Saturday, March 9th, 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

At its next Movie Night, Flatbush Jewish Center will show the contemporary Israeli film "Beaufort." Based on Ron Leshem's novel Im Yesh Gan Eden (If There Is a Heaven), the movie follows Israeli soldiers as they prepare to depart from Beaufort Castle--a fortress in Lebanon that Israel captured during its 1982 invasion of that country and held until 2000--and explores their feelings and experiences in the conflict.

In Hebrew, with English subtitles. Running time: 131 minutes. Not rated. Released in 2007.

Admission: $7.00 per person. Pizza will be served.
