COMPOST FOR BROOKLYN CLOSING FOR A WHILE

After Sunday, October 28th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., don't bring your compost to Compost for Brooklyn. That'll be their last open day for a while as they temporary close for repairs and renovations. While they're closed, bring your compost to Cortelyou Greenmarket on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Cortelyou Greenmarket is on Cortelyou Road between Argyle and Rugby roads. It's open year-round Or go to any location listed here.

In the spring of 2013, Compost for Brooklyn will reopen. In the meantime, while they're closed, they'll have some needed volunteer workdays. Their website and Facebook page will list the dates and times for workdays.
