The pilot episode of TV reality show "Criminal Defense-Brooklyn" involved a lawsuit between the owners of two shoe repair stores that exist side-by-side on Church Avenue, between E. 4th and E. 3rd streets, in Kensington.
The series--on the National Geographic channel--is about the Brooklyn Legal Aid Society's Criminal Division Unit. The lawsuit is over an assault. A three-minute sneak peek is online here.
