TALKIN' 'BOUT GREEN BEANS IN THE WT

Windsor Terrace Community Meeting about Walgreens
Monday, October 1st, 7:00 p.m.

Green Beans Not Walgreens (GBNW) has invited Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, New York State Assemblymember Jim Brennan, and New York City Councilmember Brad Lander to the next public meeting about Walgreens. They will update residents on their efforts to convince Walgreens to provide Windsor Terrace with a full-service supermarket with fresh food.

Walgreens has been invited to send a representative to present its plan for meeting the neighborhood's food needs.

The meeting will be held in Shepherd's Hall, in the rear of Holy Name Church, 245 Prospect Park West, at the corner of Prospect Avenue.

Green Beans Not Walgreens is the Windsor Terrace organization working to insure that Walgreens provides Windsor Terrace residents with the food they need to do a complete supermarket shopping.
