STEP INSIDE THESE "HOUSES"

 The mausoleum of Charles Feltman
Coney Island hot dog king

Open "House" at Green-wood Cemetery
Saturday, October 15th, noon to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 16th, noon to 4:00 p.m.

Green-wood Cemetery is marking this year's openhousenewyork with an Open "House." "House" as in "mausoleum," those beautiful and mysterious buildings in Green-wood that you can only see partially into and only by peering through the windows.

Some of the cemetery's most elaborate mausoleums will be open for two days for the public to walk into, many for the first time--and possibly the only time. When you visit, you'll be given a map showing their locations. You can walk to them or ride Green-wood's free historic trolley.

Register here for this free event. Reservations are encouraged but aren't necessary.
