"By Popular Demand" is a fast-paced mélange featuring new, original choreography performed by dancers of all ages. Ballerinas, b-boys, contemporary dancers, and hoofers express a spectrum of subjects, from narrative stories, to abstract themes, to topics lifted from the headlines. From moment to moment, sparks fly on the stage as scenes shift from flying b-boys to butterfly ballerinas, to ecstatic tappers. Young dancer birds fly across the stage and modern dancers perform a human typewriter. Tickets are on sale now via Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts' box office.

Cynthia King Dance Studio is a vital part of Brooklyn's rich dance culture-promoting traditional training and innovative performance. Early registration for courses that begin in September starts on May 15, 2011.  Interested families and individuals should contact the studio by email at info [at] cynthiakingdance.com or by phone at (718) 437-0101.
