A. I teach Indian cooking class in my teaching kitchen. It's a comfortable and relaxed setting designed to provide a forum for learning and exchanging thoughts and ideas. This cooking class is designed for North Indian cuisine. It sounds difficult, but believe me, you will be able to make it with some hands-on techniques.

There are many people who love Indian food. They want to cook it and learn more about it. Sometimes it looks a little challenging to learn straight off the dishes you’ve ordered at the restaurant. But no worries: they’re not so daunting. I can teach you the diverse types of Indian dishes and spices. I will teach you the nuances and secrets, where to get the masalas, and how to keep the aroma intact.

You get to cook, have food, and bring your items back home for the next day's lunch. Bring your own containers, please.

Come, take the initiative into the mysteries of Indian cooking. Unravel the secrets of the mouthwatering spices.

Menu:
Jumbo Shrimp Malai Curry(in coconut milk)
Paneer Tikka Masala
Roti

We invite you to bring a notebook so you can take all the secrets back home with you and delight yourself and those you love.

Please confirm your RSVP at (917) 703-3998 so I can make preparations based on the actual number of students coming. Thank you.

Because of the demand, I am doing a Samosa Chaat party. I will show you how to make Yummy Samosa Chaat from scratch and some chutney.
Place: JujoMukti Tea Lounge
211 East 4th Street Between Av A and B NYC, Manhattan
Date and Time: Tuesday, March 8th From 7-9pm
Price: $20 per person

In India, chaat refers to both a spice blend and to a salad that uses the spice blend and has a tangy condiment that perks up the flavors of salad, legumes, potatoes, etc. There are three things that give the tangy flavors: 1) amchoor (dried powdered mango), 2) asafoetida has a nice smell and is also very good for your health, 3) black salt or rock salt that has a smoky taste. There are so many delicious variations of chaat preparations that I can show you. In this class, we picked the two most favo
rite dishes: the most popular Indian chaat.

As March 8th is International Women's Day, why not celebrate it with a fun cooking class!

Menu:
Papri chaat
Samosa chaat

These chaat will go very well with Julie's tea too.

It is so much fun to make them and even better to taste. Let's all have fun together!

Thank you, and looking forward to seeing you.
