PROSPECT FARM WINTER POTLUCK

UPDATE: The date of the potluck has been changed to Wednesday, January 19th, because of the snowstorm that's predicted for our area. Same time, same place!

Prospect Farm Winter Potluck
Wednesday, January 12th, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Prospect Farm will hold a Winter Potluck on Wednesday, January 12th, to discuss its upcoming season and to give neighbors an opportunity to meet each other. The potluck is open to families, neighbors, volunteers, members, and friends.

A donation of $5 per person is requested to cover the cost of the rented space. Bring an entree, dessert, or a beverage to share with your neighbors. Please label your dish as either meat, vegetarian, or vegan.

Plates, cups, napkins, and utensils will be provided; bring your own serving spoon. There will be access to a kitchen, but it may not be possible to heat your food at the potluck, so choose what you bring with that in mind.

About Prospect Farm
Prospect Farm is a community group in Windsor Terrace that's working to grow healthy food. Its mission is to create a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm to serve the community through diversity in both food production and membership. Its members are creating healthy soil through a community composting project. Farming is done without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.

Membership in Prospect Farm is open to everyone. Members work to improve and farm the land and to sustain ties with local residents, businesses, and organizations. Prospect Farm supports the Brooklyn Food Coalition and other initiatives for food sovereignty and food justice. The Brooklyn Food Coalition is a grassroots organization working to change the food system in Brooklyn, neighborhood by neighborhood, focusing on community organizing, advocacy, and education.
