The Community Board 7 Parks & Environment Committee will meet on Thursday, November 7th, at 6:30 p.m., with the following agenda:
 
1. Updates from the Prospect Park Alliance on new strategic plans for Prospect Park
 
2. Identify and recommend specific neighborhood locations of persistent street cleanliness issues to the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit
 
3. Brainstorming session on committee's priorities and goals.

Are you toiling about election results? Have you bitten your nails down to nubs? Are you disgusted and afraid? WELL: I am! Join me at The Craft Salon to decompress with hard liquor and crafts. We will talk, laugh, commiserate, and, maybe even cry. I don't want to do it alone. 

No charge, but registration is required due to space/seat limitations.

Bring something you are working on, or I will set you up with something for your hands to do!

72ND PRECINCT COMMUNITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER MEETING

 

72nd Precinct Community Council Meeting
Tuesday, November 12th
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The next meeting between the 72nd Precinct Community Council, the public, and officers of the 72nd Precinct will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Talk with the precinct's Commanding Officer, Deputy Inspector Krystin Suarez, the Community Affairs Officers, and the Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs) for each of the precinct's sectors.

Everyone who lives or works in Windsor Terrace, Greenwood Heights, South Slope, and Sunset Park is invited to the meeting to discuss past crimes and learn what the precinct is doing to prevent future crimes.

Find out about the types of crime that have been taking place, their frequency, any enabling factors, and how to prevent them.

Members of the public are invited to voice their concerns about criminal activity, including armed robberies, rape and other forms of sexual assaults, home break-ins, burglaries in local stores, bank robberies, speeding drivers, stolen bicycles, package theft, and other crimes.
