GET A ZIPCAR FROM THE WINDSOR TERRACE LIBRARY

Zipcar and the  Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) system have formed a partnership that offers cars to the public at nine neighborhood libraries, including Windsor Terrace. Two cars are available at each branch. The parking spots being reserved for Zipcar vehicles were not previously available for public use, so no patron spaces are being lost.

A special discount for Brooklyn Public Library members: for a limited time only, library members who sign up for Zipcar are charged $30 less for the first-year annual fee (bringing the fee down to $65), and they get $30 in free driving credits.

The nine Brooklyn libraries engaging in the program are Bay Ridge, Bedford (3 cars), Bushwick, Coney Island, Flatbush, Park Slope, Saratoga, Windsor Terrace, and Walt Whitman.

The Zipcar/BPL partnership raises money that the library needs to support its operations, and it provides Brooklyn residents with a convenient transportation resource. The branches that are hosting Zipcars receive additional funding as part of the partnership.

For customer service regarding Zipcar or your cardholder membership, call Zipcar at 866-4- ZIPCAR (866-494-7227).
